What makes it stand out
The harbour and castle hill provide two different perspectives on the settlement. A walk at shore level can be kept modest, while the higher part needs a separate assessment of effort and current access. Nearby Moustos introduces the wetland landscape of Kynouria; Tyros and Leonidio continue the coastal road farther south.

One or two nights work well on an eastern Peloponnese route. Choose accommodation according to the actual walking route to the shore, rather than relying on the wider place name. Check beach conditions and seasonal services locally. If visiting Moustos, use the permitted viewing access and keep the wetland outing distinct from a beach day.
