Getting there
Athens is a common starting point for a road journey through Corinthia. Kalamata can be useful when an operating flight matches your dates. Patras is a western port gateway, and the Rio–Antirrio crossing connects the peninsula with western mainland Greece. Check the actual transport schedule before choosing your first and last nights.
Driving and motorcycles
Use motorways for efficient transfers when appropriate, then allow more time for local and mountain roads. Confirm rental terms, licence requirements, insurance, toll arrangements and permission for ferry carriage with the provider. For motorcycles, check secure parking and luggage arrangements, and reduce the daily distance when heat, rain or a demanding road makes the ride tiring.
Build days around one main purpose
A long walk, a major archaeological visit or a boat excursion can each be the centre of a day. Add another stop only when it leaves a comfortable arrival at the next base. Refuel before remote loops, use current road information and avoid turning a late arrival into an unfamiliar mountain crossing.
Keep reservations and conditions separate
A confirmed hotel does not establish that a nearby trail or attraction is open. Recheck site access, weather and transport close to travel. Keep a mainland alternative for a boat day and a town or museum option for unsuitable walking weather.
