What makes it stand out
Keep the visit at the scale of the place: a short look around the publicly accessible waterfront and time to understand the shape of the inlet. This is not a substitute for a large beach day or a reason to explore private buildings. Gerolimenas provides the more natural onward base for the road farther south.
Planning your visit
Review the final road approach and parking before entering narrow residential space. Do not assume safe water access from photographs of the cove. If time is short, choose Mezapos or another local detour rather than adding every bay between Diros and Vathia. Respect private access and leave room for residents and working vehicles.
