What makes it stand out
A visit focuses on burial spaces and the evidence they provide about status, craftsmanship and the Mycenaean world. It is a specialist complement to Midea rather than a substitute for the larger first-visit sites. Understanding where the objects were found makes a later museum visit more meaningful; seeing the objects first can work equally well.
Planning your visit
Check current access before committing to the journey, and combine the cemetery with Midea only if both visits are available. Leave time to read the interpretation rather than expecting a large landscape of standing monuments. Nafplio is a useful base for this part of Argolis. Avoid adding Dendra after a full day at both Mycenae and Epidaurus.
