Copper Museum

In Chronas Street and at number 18 on a picturesque street in the heart of Tripoli, a gift awaits the walker. A surprising and unexpected museum. This is the Copper Museum, a product of love and devotion of a rare man, Tasos Mpirmpili, who turned the family home into the ark of reddish copper.

He very patiently collects over years hundreds of bronze objects from all over Arcadia.Tools, machinery, daily utensils, all with a common feature that they are made of primitive and philanthropist material, the copper. Usually, in the evenings, he is at his favorite place, where all of the collection is, and he takes care of it.

Thin sounds echo in the neighborhood as the air dancing between the copper objects. One good recommendation will be that you should take along your camera to capture the sun as it reflects on the different bronze creations. This is a rare experience. The museum can be visited only by arrangement with the veteran collector and creator.
